Carinya Park, apart from being an Equestrian Property, is also a Land for Wildlife property. At the front of the property there are nearly 25 acres of Pasture, Native
grasslands, and Orchard. At the rear of the property there are close to 60 acres of Forest, Fern gullies, Birds and wildlife.
Around dusk and dawn it is not unusual to see wallabies or wombats on some of the tracks. During daylight Lyrebirds can quite often be seen scratching around on the
forest floor. At night for those with patience and good eyesight there are gliders, possums and owls.
Carinya Park is just across the road from Kurth Kiln Park which has some wonderful walking tracks and picnic spots.
